The extremely short switching on of EFFILUX lights allow an ignition principle pulse / pause and minimum downtime. These pulses are directly controlled by a signal coming into the "DIM" connector (see Synchronizing Camera - Lighting)

All EFFILUX lights can be synchronized with your camera. How? By directly connecting the trigger output on the DIM pin of lighting.

On request, EFFILUX lights can be designed waterproof. International Protection Marking (IP) is an international standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission on water resistance. This code ranks the level of protection offered by a material to solids and liquid intrusions. The code format, given by IEC 60529 is IP XX where XX are two digits and / or letter.

The most commonly encountered IP Code are IP20, IP44 and IP65.
IP20 refers to products intended for use exclusively inside, while IP44 and IP65 designate products suitable for outdoor and indoor use.

Manufacturer of LED lighting always concerned about the safety of its customers, EFFILUX relies on EN 62471 : 2008, photobiological security of LED lights and appliances using LED lighting.
This standard allows a classification of LED lighting according to risk groups.
In case of direct, repeated and high-power exposure, blue light may cause damage to the eye : toxic effect on the retina, aggravating effect of macular degeneration, glare. These risks are especially important for children because of their greater sensitivity to blue light.
That is why as a manufacturer of LED lighting, EFFILUX must inform its customers of the existence of these risks, even if they are minimal for normal use of its LED lighting.
The standard for photobiological safety of LED lighting EN 62471: 2008 provides a methodology for measurement and classification of risk.
• Risk group 0 : without risk.
• Risk group 1 : low risk. The product does not present a risk of exposure limits in normal conditions of use.
• Risk group 2 : moderate risk. The reflex to look away from the lamp is enough to limit risk.
• Risk group 3 : high risk. The product may present a risk even for momentary or brief exposure.
It is important to note that the level of risk is partly related to the distance between the light source and the eye.
The risk is also related to an exposure time.
The light output and the beam shape are other factors affecting the level of risk.

Whatever the level of risk of the lamp, we recommend :
• not to look directly at a lighted lighting
• to avoid putting the beam of a light in the eyes of another person.
